...just! Luckily, the impending snow only arrived down South today and didn't disrupt my 5 hour journey to Grimsby last week. Getting home was a little trickier as loads of trains were cancelled on route to London. But alas, I made it. I had a really nice weekend. My boyfriend loved his birthday present - Armani Code. Needless to say, he now smells amazing. We had an awesome night in Nottingham on Friday as well. We saw a ton of DJ's and burnt off a week's worth of calories in those 5 or so hours of dancing. On Saturday, we evened it out by eating our body's worth in pizza and garlic bread - standard protocol when watching X Factor. Nomnomnom.
Anyway as you can see below... I don't tend to overdo it on the outfit front when I go out - I'm all about the music - however cringingly awful that sounds! (eek!). I'm into dubstep/house/bassline et al and those sorts of nights are usually held in some dingy warehouse or carpark... ahem, so it kind of figures. That's not to say the scene is devoid of style. We don't all trudge out in our thermals and walking boots! Though, it was bitter walking about the streets of Nottingham in the early hours. Usually I'll go for an all-black ensemble... chanelling some 90's grunge in one way or another. Here I'm wearing an H&M sheer black shirt, American Apparel sleeveless hoody, leggings and Dr Martens.
